Our Organization

The Historic North Charlotte Neighborhood Association, Inc. (HNCNA) is organized exclusively for charitable purposes and recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)3 charitable organization. HNCNA seeks to preserve an existing region historically dedicated to the celebration and support of art, small business, and human diversity.

Our community

We are an alliance of residents (owners and renters) and business owners from all backgrounds seeking to keep communications open and honest within our geographic borders and to present a unified voice to developers, city council members, and to the city at large.

Recent reports by the Charlotte Observer indicate that the Neighborhood Theater may be closing.
